High pressure droplet shape analyzer

The DSA100HP high-temperature and high-pressure drop type analyzer can efficiently and accurately measure contact angle, surface tension, and interfacial tension under high-temperature and high-pressure conditions. It is mainly used in the crude oil extraction industry. It perfectly combines the DSA100 drop type analyzer with a high-quality high-pressure testing pool, and can measure samples under conditions up to 1750 bar. It can measure surface tension under high temperature and pressure conditions, analyze the wetting of oil containing rocks by surfactant solutions, and is widely used in secondary oil recovery (EOR) research, such as using steam or surfactant flooding methods to improve crude oil recovery. The instrument can also test the wettability of high-pressure liquefied gases, such as for optimizing carbon dioxide extraction processes.

measuring method

The contact angle between liquid and solid is measured using all common models by measuring the surface free energy static contact angle, forward and backward angles, and the rolling angle of hydrophobic and superhydrophobic surfaces with several test liquids. Surface tension and liquid-liquid interface tension are measured using the suspension drop method
  • Measure the surface tension of surfactant solution and its interfacial tension with oil under storage conditions
  • Research on the wettability of petroleum and the extraction of petroleum from oily rocks
  • Liquefied gas pressure extraction, such as carbon dioxide
  • Development of surfactants for liquefied gas
